House Location Scout

One of the great things about the script logistically speaking is that the entire Knights of Death Metal story happens within one location. The bad thing about this logistically speaking is we need full-access to a house for approximately 18 days to set decorate, block, pre-light, and shoot. And nobody's about to run out of their house for 18 days for us to take over. Sadly.

Here are pictures of one of the houses we're potentially looking to rent.

What do you think?

Death Metal Bowser's Castle Theme

What would a production blog be without some sweet links that almost have nothing to do with our film?

Except for the fact that it's metal music.

Death Metal Bowser's Castle Theme Song.

Thanks to editor Kyle Kelley for the link.

Casting the Cast

It's been a long, drawn-out process trying to find just the right talent for the lead roles for The Knights of Death Metal, but we have finally found the right kids for the right roles of Noah and Dylan. Just this past Saturday, we made our decision. Thanks to all who came out and auditioned! Everybody was great.

The next big thing that's on everybody's mind in this production is how we're going to conjoin the two leads by the legs. And it's certainly a good question. But, just this past morning, special effects make-up artist Matt Gonos has started giving us the answer.

Here is an inside look into the casting process behind making the prosthetic for conjoining Noah and Dylan...
